Trouble on the Golf Course

This is an excellent opportunity to review various trouble spots on the golf course and get professional instruction on how to make the most of these situations.  Sand, water, trees, and uneven lies all mean "Trouble on the Golf Course."

The Meadows of Sixmile Creek
Monday, July 12, 2010  5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Cost:  Member $20   NonMember $25

Minimum:  4 people     Maximum:  12 people

Head out to the golf course to review strategy for staying out of water hazards, fundamentals for hitting out of bunkers, hitting from difficult stances such as from behind a tree, on steep slopes. Let the pro show you how it's done!

Etiquette such assisting other players when they hit into a water hazard or bunker (what their options are, where the ball entered, etc.), hitting a provisional ball, helping others search for a lost ball, etc.

Once you're in trouble, do you know what the rules are?  Learn the rules associated with the difference between a water hazard and a lateral water hazard and what options the player has with each, hitting your ball from within a water hazard, determining when a ball is lost, how long you get to search, understanding options when you hit your ball out of bounds, moveable and immovable obstructions, cart paths, etc.

This is an excellent opportunity to ask the Pro for help and practice handling these challenging situations.
